Special Interest Population Analysis from the 2008 Census of Population and Housing

Government of South Sudan has put in place instruments to ensure high standard of living in the country. Such instruments are Rights of Children, Rights of Women, Life and Human Dignity, Right to Education and Rights of Persons with Special Needs and the Elderly. Commitment to respect and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms enshrined in the Constitution is the corner stone of social justice, equality and democracy in South Sudan. This report forms the baseline in monitoring and evaluating progress in the commitment to respect and promotion of the rights and freedoms as well as development progress in the implementation of the development policies and initiatives.
