On 9th July 2011 South Su- dan became the world’s newest country when it seceded from Sudan following an historic refer- endum on self-determination that took place in January 2011.
W.B.G. is a state in the North- west of South Sudan and is bordered by Warrap state and N.B.G to the east, Western Equatoria to the south and C.A.R. to the west. To the North lies Sudan.
